Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
All match, team, and player data is stored locally on your device. Rackmaster does not use accounts, cloud sync, or online storage.
I deleted my data — can I get it back?
No. Because data stays on your device only, clearing matches, teams, or players in Settings permanently removes that data. There is no backup or recovery.
Which scoring formats are supported?
Rackmaster supports APA 8 Ball, APA 9 Ball, APA Double Jeopardy, APA Masters, BCA, and 1 Pocket, plus a Basic Scorekeeper for casual games.
Is Rackmaster affiliated with APA or BCA?
No. Rackmaster is an independent scorekeeping app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any pool league or association.
How do I export a match report?
After completing a match, generate a PDF match report from the share option. You can copy the scores onto your league score sheet, send the report to a captain, or share it through the system share sheet.
Why is the app asking for photo library access?
On iOS, saving a match report PDF to your device uses the photo library. Rackmaster only accesses the library when you choose to save a report.
PDF export or sharing is not working
Try closing and reopening the app, then export again. For very large match reports, ensure you have enough free storage on your device. If the problem continues, email us with your device model and iOS version.
Can I use Rackmaster on multiple devices?
There is no sync between devices. Each installation keeps its own local data.
